Hi, I’m Davi Santos, and I started this blog because I’ve seen too many homeowners frustrated after hiring tile installers who didn’t do the job right. There’s been a big uptick in people calling me to fix mistakes, and I felt it was time to step in and help. I want to educate the public on what proper tile installation looks like, and at the same time, encourage others in the industry to train and keep learning—whether they’re just starting out or keeping up with new developments. It’s important to be able to tell the difference between contractors who care about the craft and those who only care about the money, leaving people unsure of who to trust. I’m committed to keeping the values of honesty and quality alive in this industry.

A lot of my drive comes from my faith in Jesus. My work and life are deeply shaped by my beliefs in hard work, honor, freedom, and the importance of treating others with respect. I came to the U.S. from Brazil at 18, and I’ve been blessed to be part of this amazing country, which rewards good people who put in the effort.
One of the biggest influences in my life has been my first family—my mom and dad. I’m blessed to have a strong bond with both of them. For most of the past 23 years, I’ve had the honor of working alongside my father, learning the values of hard work, dedication, and respect. These lessons from my parents have shaped who I am today, both in my personal and professional life.

Music has also been a huge part of who I am. Playing the guitar or writing songs has always been a way for me to express myself and connect with something deeper. It reminds me that whether it’s art, music, or tile installation, the details matter, and so does the heart you put into it.
Becoming a father has added another layer to my life. My family is at the center of everything I do, and being a dad has taught me the importance of balance, both in work and at home. It’s made me even more committed to living out my values every day, whether through Davie Mac Tile or how I treat people in everyday life.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to live with gratitude, bring order to what I do, and honor the opportunities I’ve been given by working hard and staying true to the people around me.
